Deciding to work with HCWD, PLLC Law Firm
Deciding to hire a lawyer is an important decision. Most clients retain us because of our particular expertise in our area of focus: disputes among co-owners of private businesses--shareholders, members, partners, limited partners. We are happy to sit for a job interview to answer any questions you may have before you make this important decision. Please feel free to book a 15-20 minute telephone meeting with HCWD, PLLC. There is no charge for this meeting, but we will not discuss the specifics of your case until you become a client. Click on the button below to schedule an appointment.
Need Immediate Help or Advice?
If you already know that you need our help immediately, then we are ready to go. Most clients begin their relationship with us by retaining us for an initial consultation. This process involves an intense examination of your issue, up to two hours personal consultation with HCWD, PLLC, advice as to your rights and options, and our recommendations on next steps and a game plan. For a great many of our clients, this initial consultation is all they need. For others, they take the recommendations and game plan and retain HCWD, PLLC Law Firm to implement it. We provide this service for a flat fee of $1000. You can enter into a Consultation Engagement Agreement right on this website. Please click on the button below to get the process rolling.

Important Note: We are a Texas Law Firm!
HCWD, PLLC Law Firm is a Texas law firm. Our only office is in Houston, Texas. Our lawyers are licensed to practice only in Texas. Most of the matters we handle have some relationship to Texas: The client lives in Texas. The other party or the company is in Texas. Or the company was created under Texas law.
We practice in courts all over the state of Texas and sometimes practice outside of the state. We have handled litigation in Delaware, New York, California, and other states, but we are permitted to do so only when we are working with a local lawyer. Because of the added expense of paying two law firms, most out-of-state clients opt to find a lawyer where they live. However, many of them hire us to consult with their legal team on strategy and tactics so that they have the benefit of our experience without the full expense of having us travel out of state to handle the lawsuit ourselves. But if you want us and are willing and able to hire local counsel, then we are ready to travel wherever we are needed to serve you.
